Liberty ND PAC Endorses Judy Estenson For Agriculture Commissioner
Today Liberty ND PAC announced its endorsement of Judy Estenson for the 2014 North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner race.
Judy and her husband, Hal, have operated a livestock and grain farm in Benson County since 1979. They've raised five children on their rural Warwick farm. Their farm raises wheat, corn, soybeans, forage crops and has a cow-calf operation as well as backgrounding calves. The Estenson family has been farming and ranching in North Dakota since the 1880s.
"I am so pleased and honored that Liberty ND PAC is endorsing my candidacy for Ag Commissioner," said Judy Estenson. "It is very rewarding to know that true conservatives can evaluate both candidates and recognize that I have the character and integrity to defend personal freedoms and property rights for all North Dakotans. I am very happy to earn the support of the Liberty ND PAC and to welcome them as partners in this campaign."
Judy is also a Registered Nurse, graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in nursing from Jamestown College. She's worked at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake for over 30 years.
"We believe Judy is committed to standing firm on the principles of liberty," said Liberty ND PAC Chairman Jared Hendrix. "She will be a tireless advocate of our state's vast agricultural industry. Judy also understands the regulatory challenges as they impact day to day life and she will not falter in defending the property rights of farmers, ranchers and all other North Dakotans." Judy Estenson is facing incumbent Ag Commissioner Doug Goehring for the Republican Party's endorsement at their state convention April 4-6 in Minot.
