Liberty ND PAC-Endorsed Chris Olson WINS Convention!
Today Liberty ND PAC announced that its endorsed candidate, Chris Olson, has won the endorsement of the District 13 Republican Party for one of the district’s seats in the House of Representatives.
Chris Olson, an Army veteran, is CEO of Treasure Island Coins, Inc., a coin and precious metal dealer. He also owns Dakota Depository LLC, a secure precious metals storage facility. Both businesses are located in Fargo. Olson is native to the West Fargo community where he lives with his wife Lisa and their five children.
"We're extremely excited to see Chris lock up the Republican Party's official endorsement," said Jared Hendrix, Chairman of Liberty ND PAC. "We expect to see Chris successful in the June primary, the November election and, eventually, in the upcoming legislative session. Truly, this is a momentous occasion for supporters of greater liberty in North Dakota."
Upon his victory, Olson made the following statement: "If elected to the ND House, my only purpose will be to serve the people of this state, to protect their interests, their lives, their liberties and their property, from all that would seek to deprive them of them."
The legislative endorsing convention for the Fargo area Republican districts took place last night at Carl Ben Eielson School in Fargo. Chris Olson and incumbent Representative Kim Kopplelman both secured the endorsement for the two respective house seats in District 13.
Liberty ND PAC was formed in April 2012 with the aim of advancing liberty-minded principles and conservative values by impacting state and local elections in North Dakota. This is their first electoral victory of the 2014 election cycle. Three of their four endorsed candidates have won their respective races.
