Liberty ND PAC Endorses Rick Becker for North Dakota House

Today Liberty ND PAC announced its endorsement of Representative Rick Becker in his bid for reelection to the North Dakota House in District 7.

Becker is a plastic surgeon who was first elected in 2012. Presently, Becker serves on the Transportation Committee and the Industry, Business, and Labor Committee. He also serves on the Interim Economic Impact Committee and Health Care Reform Review Committee. He has 4 children and lives in Bismarck, ND.

"Rick has been a champion of fiscal restraint, accountability and civil liberties in Bismarck," said Liberty ND PAC Chairman Jared Hendrix. "He's led the fight against warrantless use of drones by law enforcement and holding the line on excess spending. We're happy to include him in our coalition of legislators and prospective candidates who are fighting for the principles of liberty."

Becker is owner of Becker Plastic Surgery, the Luft Rooftop Beer Garden, and Humpback Sally's in Bismarck. He's a graduate of the University of North Dakota, where he earned his B.S., M.H.S. and his M.D. He completed residencies there and at Wayne State University.

"I'm very pleased to have Liberty ND PAC's endorsement," said Becker. "Rest assured, I will continue to push for the constitutional conservatism which respects and protects our liberties."

Liberty ND PAC was formed in April 2012 with the aim of advancing liberty-minded principles and conservative values by impacting state and local elections in North Dakota. Two of their four endorsed candidates won their respective races, including a newcomer who unseated a 22-year incumbent in the Republican primary. They have also endorsed Chris Olson from District 13 for the November 2014 election.
